Week Three- Kingdom verses to Highlight!

Starting Jan 1, 2024 would you join me every day in highlighting our Bibles with every Kingdom verse we can find! I personally am using the color purple for Royalty. Can you imagine having over 360 verses marked in your Bible by the end of the year?!
The kingdom of God was one of Jesus’ most talked about matters, but it’s hardly a well-grasped concept for believers today. If you asked a group of people to define it, you would probably get a variety of answers.
This week: Kingdom Crowns!

ACTION – Highlight these entire verses in your Bible.
The Bride of Christ that will be raptured before the Tribulation and then return with Jesus to rule and reign at His side can be also be identified by 5 rewards for her earthly service: also called 5 Crowns. Hopefully this is you; a company of Jesus Followers that are madly in love with Him! These are Magnificent Kingdom verses.
Victor’s Crown, Imperishable crown: overcoming desires of the flesh.
1. Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. (1 Corinthians 9:24-25)
Rejoicing Crown or Soul Winners Crown.
2. Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved. (Philippians 4:1)
– For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming? (1 Thessalonians 2:19)
Crown of Righteousness or Watchers Crown.
3. And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. (2 Timothy 2:5)
– Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. (2 Timothy 4:8)
Crown of Life: remaining faithful in persecution.
4. Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. (James 1:12)
– Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. (Revelation 2:10)
Crown of Glory: leading those you influence with a righteous example.
5. … a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: 2 Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; 3 nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; 4 and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away. (1 Peter 5:1-4)
Bride’s wedding gift to the Groom.
What will we do with our crowns? They will be The Bride’s wedding present to the Groom; Jesus. What other gift could we possibly give Him?
6. Cast their crowns before the throne.
Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads…9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” (Revelation 4:4-10)
7. JESUS WEARS FINAL CROWN.
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. (Revelation 19:11-16)
