1st writing of Paul

Remember this is the first written work of Paul that God calls His Word and inserts into Holy Scripture with these three foundational themes. Again, let that sink in your spirit for a minute. Today let’s look at the power of the us that remain on earth who are restraining the lawless one.

In the chart above find the first bubble at the top which says Bride of Christ, this is the first Rapture Paul addressed in Thessalonians that happens before the 7-year tribulation; this is the one we are to be prepared for.

Understanding our power and authority today 2 Thessalonians 2:6

⁶ And now you know what is restraining, that he (the lawless one) may be revealed in his own time. ⁷ For the mystery (hidden truth) of lawlessness is already at work;

The Restrainer, who is he?  …only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.

YOU & I. WE ARE THE ONES HOLDING BACK THE ANTI-CHRIST TODAY!

This is us! The restrainer is the Body of Christ on Earth, soon to be Bride of Christ. From the Thessalonians to today, we are the ones Paul was talking about.

• We are the ones filled with the Holy Spirit of God, the remnant; looking for, waiting for, listening for Father God to say to His Son Jesus: “Go and get your Bride” and to hear the Words of Jesus: “Come up here!”

It is NOT only the Holy Spirit of God on Earth today holding back Evil. It is the Holy Spirit of God IN US holding back evil.

Do we dare believe this? Can this possibly be true? I don’t hear anyone else addressing this issue…

DECEMBER 2025 – I am speaking to you in real time. Our Lord is revealing to us through His Holy Spirit and His Written Word (1&2 Thessalonians) that we have been called as

• Ambassadors of Heaven (spokesmen for God)
• in the Authority of Jesus’ Name
• with the power of The Holy Spirit to back us up
• to restrain the lawless one until we are removed from the earth

This is amazing to me. Remember, the pattern throughout scripture is that God ALWAYS has a witness on the earth no matter how small. Today those of us ready for the rapture ARE THAT WITNESS. What an honor to be considered worthy to represent Jesus in this hour.

As many saints of God are being taken home even in these last few years, the number of us holding back lawlessness is getting smaller. This is not scary this is God’s last military unit on earth that still knows how to pray in the authority of Jesus Name and the power of The Holy Spirit.

In this hour though our numbers may be small, we still share the gospel (1 Corinthians 15), we pray for the sick, feed the hungry, cast out demons, and help all in Christ to mature from Children to Young Men to Fathers in the Faith.

Still need encouragement – The Restrainer on Earth – Look at Gideon!

¹¹ Now the Angel of the Lord… appeared to him (Gideon), and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!” Judges 6

Gideon Overview comparing the Bride of Christ today

6.1 – the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord

6.6 – o Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord.

6.11 – Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from the Midianites

6.12 – Angel of the Lord … said “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!”

6.14 – and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?”

6.15 – HOW can I save Israel? my clan is the weakest in Manasseh I am the least in my father’s house.”

6.16 – And the Lord said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man.”

6.17 – SHOW ME A SIGN (#1)

6.20 – take the meat and the unleavened bread and lay them on this rock, and pour out the broth.”

6.21 – fire rose out of the rock and consumed the meat and the unleavened bread

6.25 – offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the image which you shall cut down.”

6.27 – So Gideon … did as the Lord had said to him. But because he feared his father’s household and the men of the city too much to do it by day, he did it by night.

6.34 – But the Spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon; then he blew the trumpet, and the Abiezrites gathered behind him.

6.36-37 – (SIGN #2) If You will save Israel by my hand as You have said… I shall put a fleece of wool on the threshing floor; if there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground,

6.39 – (SIGN #3) test, I pray, just once more with the fleece; let it now be dry only on the fleece, but on all the ground let there be dew.”

6.40 – And God did so

7.2 – The people who are with you are TOO MANY … lest Israel claim glory for itself against Me, saying, ‘My own hand has saved me.’

7.3 – (#1) fearful and afraid, let him turn and depart at … And twenty-two thousand returned, and ten thousand remained.

7.4 – still TOO MANY

7.5 – (#2) who laps from the water with his tongue, as a dog laps (go home)

7.7 – By the three hundred men who lapped (from their knee) I will save you

7.8 – camp of Midian was below him in the valley

7.10 – if you are (STILL) afraid, go down to the camp with Purah your servant

7.13 – had a dream: To my surprise, a loaf of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian; it came to a tent and struck it so that it fell and overturned, and the tent collapsed.”

7.14 – then his companion answered and said, “This is nothing else but the sword of Gideon

7.15 – Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, that he worshiped

7.16 – (The plan of the remnant) three companies, and he put a trumpet into every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and torches inside the pitchers.

7.17 – And he said to them, “Look at me and do likewise; watch, and when I come to the edge of the camp you shall do as I do:

7.19-22 – ¹⁹ So Gideon and the hundred men who were with him came to the outpost of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, just as they had posted the watch; and they blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers that were in their hands. ²⁰ Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers—they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing—and they cried, “The sword of the Lord and of Gideon!” ²¹ And every man stood in his place all around the camp; and the whole army ran and cried out and fled. ²² When the three hundred blew the trumpets, the Lord set every man’s sword against his companion throughout the whole camp; and the army fled

This is how God does war on the earth; this is what is taking place TODAY!

We can purposefully be involved in the greatest spiritual war on Earth.

It is not too late; this is actually the first announcement for this hour.

Ask God yourself and His Word will start lighting up like fireworks!

Then – Run to the Battle…

Think you are too bad & broken for God to minister through you? My daughter Marci reposed this last week:

Mary Magdalene is my girl. I don’t care what anybody says—she was ride or die for Jesus. And y’all, don’t skip over her story just because it makes religious folks squirm a little. Some say she was a prostitute; some say she wasn’t—but what we do know is this: sis had seven demons cast out of her (Luke 8:2). SEVEN. That’s not a bad day… that’s a spiritual ICU.

But here’s the part that wrecks me:

Jesus didn’t avoid her. He delivered her.

He didn’t shame her. He saved her.

And after He set her free, she never left His side. She wasn’t just around for the miracles and the crowd—she followed Him all the way to the foot of the cross when everybody else was bailing out and hiding. And when they laid Him in the tomb, she stayed close. And on resurrection morning? She was the first person He appeared to. Not Peter. Not John. Mary. The one with the past. The one nobody saw coming. The one He called by name in the middle of her heartbreak (John 20:16). And I say all that to say this:

If you’ve been through hell…

If you’ve battled addiction, abuse, trauma, shame…

If you’ve ever thought you were too far gone to be used by God… Remember Mary Magdalene!

Because Jesus didn’t just clean her up—He trusted her with the message that He was alive.

Let me tell you something: that same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in YOU (Romans 8:11). He can heal what tried to destroy you. He can restore what was stolen. He’ll meet you in your lowest place and call YOU by name. So don’t you dare let the enemy use your past to quiet your calling. If He used Mary Magdalene—He can sure enough use you.
