Can’t know the day or the hour?Part Two

But of that day and hour no one knows Mark 13:32

TAKING A QUICK LOOK AT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

Matthew 24:36-39

Heading – No One Knows the Day or Hour

36 But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

When the Bride accepts the Grooms proposal, they are contractually married. The Groom goes back to his father’s house to add on a room for him & his wife. The Bride KNOWS it will take about a year and is also busy getting ready with the wedding party. One the Groom is done building his room, HE THEN FIXES A BANQUET FEAST (real food) but he cannot go get his Bride until his father says so. Only the Father knows the day and the hour. But the Bride knows it will be about a year and the Groom knows that the Father is not going to wait another 5 years and see the food spoil. Thus we do not know the day or the hour. But we can know the Season, year, month, week and within 48 hours.

TAKING A QUICK LOOK AT NOAH

Matthew 24:36-39

Heading – No One Knows the Day or Hour

37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Two types of people mentioned; Noah and family who believed and knew what was going to happen and the mockers who didn’t believe Noah’s message. Don’t you think at the end of 120 years of building and Noah putting in the last piece of gofer wood on the ark that he and his family knew IT WAS TIME! OK maybe not the day or hour but when the animals started loading on their own IT WAS TIME! The same with us, everything is in place; IT IS TIME!

17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18

TAKING A QUICK LOOK AT the Feast of Rosh Hashana or the Feast of Trumpets, the feast that “no one knows the day or the hour.

Watchmen are on the wall to look for the “new moon” that starts this feast. When they see it they blow the trumpet! THEY KNOW WHEN THE DAY SHOULD BE, but if it is foggy and cannot see the moon with their own eyes they WILL NOT blow the trumpet. They will wait another whole day. When they see it the next evening they will blow the trumpet. But if it is STILL FOGGY AND THEY DON’T SEE IT THE SECOND EVENING – THEY WILL BLOW THE TRUMPET ANYWAY BECAUSE THEY KNOW WITHIN A 48 hour period.
