Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? ⁶ And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. ⁷ For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. ⁸ And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. ⁹ The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, ¹⁰ and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. ¹¹ And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, ¹² that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:5-12

WAR ON TRUTH – RENEWING OUR MINDS Romans 12:1-2

Understanding Discernment – The spirit of lawlessness is already at work.

1. Do you believe that absolute truth exists?

I am talking about a standard of truth that you can put on a balance scale to weigh, measure, test, and prove if something is true or not.

2. Do you think the society and culture you are living in today believes in, or even cares about absolute truth?

In part one, we discovered that as Kingdom People following Jesus; to discern the times and navigate 2022, we find absolute Truth in these three measurable standards:

Jesus (Jn 14:16)-The Holy Spirit (Jn 16:17)-The Word of God, The Bible (Jn 17:17)

We must realize that the dark world culture we live in HAS NO CONCERN FOR THE TRUTH ABOUT ANYTHING! We will live, function, minster, and operate with less drama, heartbreak, and with more productivity if we can REMOVE THE EXPECTATION that non-followers of Jesus are seeking truth. They are not!

In part two, we discovered that as Kingdom People following Jesus; to discern the times and navigate 2022 we must understand that these top seven world systems have drifted away from Truth. These systems can no longer have our trust. Part two showed us how the government system worldwide and the USA in particular, has turned its priorities from serving the people to serving itself.

Part Three – looking at the Religious System.

Today it is all about Renewing our Minds so that we can prove what the good, acceptable and perfect will of God is. Friend this is where it gets exciting!

What happens next with Truth? How to navigate around the mystery of lawlessness that is already at work. God put us here in this hour, planning on us wining battles and victoriously overcoming darkness. Time to sharpen our sword! Truth has the supernatural power to set us all free.
