GROW IN GOD’S WORD – The Power of God’s Word
Thought #1 – When has God’s Word spoken to your life?
A verse of mine… Bible Guy Breakdown of: Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.
Definitions:
lamp glisten and shine like fire. His Word shows me right where I am standing in life today.
Light luminous, lightning, morning sun, daybreak, glorious. His Word also lights the path to my future
Verse – Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Ways of this world – Things that were called good are now called bad, lawlessness and darkness.
Transformed – metamorphosis and bloom like a butterfly.
Renew your mind – exchanging evil ideas and values of the kingdom of darkness and replace them with The Word of God.
Look at your memory verse again…pulling down strongholds!
