Beginning the Journey

WEEK 1 DAY 4 – Discipleship Course – ENTERING THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Memory Verse:

1 John 5:11-12 NKJV

11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

GOD’S GUIDANCE – GOD WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU

Thought #1 – We all have been tempted to doubt that God is still with us, even the heroes in the Bible like Joshua need to be encouraged. Joshua 1:5-9 …for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

If you are watching the Bible Movie Matthew you will see that even His disciples who were with Him doubted.

Thought #2 – God will direct you! How you ask?

  • By memorizing and reading His Word, He will point out areas of our lives that we need to repent.
  • God directs through pray by His Holy Spirit, as we set aside a time to talk with Him every day we will learn to know His voice!
  • God directs through other followers of Jesus as they give us loving council.

Practice your memory verse for this week, when temptation comes your way (and it will) Just quote the verse from memory OUTLOUD! You will have the victory.

I am a lover of Truth, a born again disciple and Ambassador of Jesus who is: The Son of our Living God, Savior of all mankind, resurrected from the dead, seated at the right hand of God and Head of The Called out ones. I am called to preach the love and acceptance to all mankind and reconcile them to God before the door of Grace and Mercy shuts at the end of this age.
