WEEK 1 DAY 3 – Discipleship Course – ENTERING THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Memory Verse:

1 John 5:11-12 NKJV

11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

JESUS MADE A WAY – God with us

Thought #1 – Jesus is the door to eternal life. We go through Him to get to Life! The Old Testament of your Bible talks and points to the Messiah, Savor, Jesus coming. The New Testament tells what happen to Jesus when He was here and points forward to Him coming to take us to heaven.

IDEA: The Bible Movie Matthew will give you the picture of the Love of God through Jesus.

Thought #2 – There is a cost to living in His Kingdom. It cost Jesus His life on the cross, it will cost us control. Jesus is a good King that paid for the right to be our king!

Practice your memory verse for this week, when temptation comes your way (and it will) Just quote the verse from memory OUTLOUD! You will have the victory.
