   Chapter Four

Why am I left behind?

Now you know that Satan IS real, and his goal was to blind you to the love of Jesus so that you would spend eternity (that is forever) in hell with him, separated from God. Now let us take a look at the categories of HOW Satan deceived YOU so you can see your way out.

1. Did the religious order, called the church hold you back?

Deceived religious church goers: you went to a church building, followed the rules, sang songs, prayed prayers, gave money, you may have even cast out a devil…

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. ²² Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ ²³ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! Matthew 7:21-23

Deception – The message Jesus spoke when He came to the earth was that the long-awaited Kingdom of God was here! The “good news” was that God made His Son Jesus, The King! Finally the world that had been under the control of Satan, living in the kingdom of darkness can now be set free. Now a new king, a good king is here to deliver us, to deliver YOU out of darkness!

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love... Colossians 1:13

…to whom I now send you, 18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.  Acts26:17-18

Jesus said: …I will build My “church” (Ekklesia – those called out of Satan’s kingdom of darkness and conveyed into Jesus’ Kingdom of Light) and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. ¹⁹ And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven…  Matthew 16:18

Within only a couple hundred years Satan used an old “legalistic religious spirit” to turn the focus off of the amazing power of The Kingdom of God and freedom of the Ekklesia (the called out ones) to reinstitute the old building temple system with professional clergy “over” the people.

The word – church

The word church is not derived from either Hebrew or Greek and it does not translate over from the Greek word Ecclesia as we’ve been told. It was borrowed from the Anglo-Saxon root word ‘circ’ which means circus or “Circe,” which stems from the Greek name of the goddess “Circe,” the daughter of “Helios,” the Roman Sun-god adopted from Greek mythology.

Roman Emperor Constantine The Great in 321 AD legalized the new religion called Christianity to try and unite his politically divided Rome. He mixed the religion of Jesus followers with the pagan legislated Sun-day (day of rest) dedicated to the Greek and Roman Sun-god, Helios. Constantine did not worship Jesus. He worshipped “Christos Helios” which means “Christ-The-True-Sun. The religion evolved into Romanism then Roman Catholicism and thus birthed the Roman Catholics. For over 1500 years, the word “church” has replaced the phrase the good news of The Kingdom of God. Only a faithful remnant, those which The Bible calls The Bride of Christ, that has just disappeared has kept the purity of The Kingdom of God on earth.

Now ask yourself, does this describe you? Did you attend a religious building on a religious day and do all the rules, take all the classes, pay 10% of you earnings plus offerings, sit in a row of people listening to a professional clergy person thinking you were doing the will of God? Perhaps you were even filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues and prayed to cast out a demon. Maybe you were a decision maker in the organization and voted on deacons, elders and the color of the song books that were ordered. Let’s go one step further, did you get a license to preach; marry people, baptize people, bury people, put on some kind of robe, collar or religious outfit? Did some manmade organization give you a title after attending their college like: pastor, teacher, evangelist, prophet, apostle, missionary, bishop, reverend…and you are still here?

If this was your path, to move forward, and gain eternal life with Jesus now is the time to:

• Admit you were deceived by Satan and his army as they implemented a well thought plan for your eternal destruction.
• Ask Jesus to forgive you for not seeking and following His Truth.
• Repent by changing your thinking; accept the Truth in this book and your hope will turn into faith, you will be saved!
• Just as God closed the door on Noah’s Ark, allowing NO ONE else in; in the same way, you only have one more opportunity, and the door will be shut forever.

When Jesus said: depart from me; the only reason was because they never knew Him.

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: ² For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, ³ unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, ⁴ traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, ⁵ having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! ⁶ For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, ⁷ always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 3:1-7

2. Did the cares of life hold you back?

Part of Satan’s strategy was to get us self-absorbed, only thinking about our own personal needs, wants, and desires. Then we were offered the world religion of consumerism – spending and purchasing with the hope that “things and stuff” would make us happy.

Maybe you knew the rapture was going happen but you did not want it to happen now. In the parable of the sower and the seed, Jesus explained there would be those who would hear the Word (seed) of God but…

…the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.  Mark 4:18-19

Then another of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father. Matthew 8:21

…this sounded reasonable but you can see that this kind of thinking would hinder a person from making the “catching away”. I have had people tell me they did not want Jesus to come for His Bride yet because they still wanted to do other things first. They got their wish; they are still here.

3. Were you held back because you were duped into supporting evil movements?

Compromise over time is like drifting down a river of compounded evil and never trying to get out. In the last days leading up to the catching away of the Bride of Christ, there was a change in the world political climate if you will. Recorded in the Old Testament of the Bible, Israel was warned by God’s Prophet Isaiah that this time would come, and it did. Today the same words of the Prophet condemn this generation as it has happened again.

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

²¹ Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
And prudent in their own sight!

²² Woe to men mighty at drinking wine,
Woe to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink,
²³ Who justify the wicked for a bribe,
And take away justice from the righteous man!

²⁴ Therefore, as the fire devours the stubble,
And the flame consumes the chaff,
So their root will be as rottenness,
And their blossom will ascend like dust;
Because they have rejected the law of the Lord of hosts,
And despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. Isiah 5:20-24

Perhaps you got caught-up in the confusing whirlwind of politics and found yourself validating evil movements? Maybe your workplace publically announced their support of ungodly practices or for those who supported millions of deaths by convenient abortion, lobbied special rights for perverted sexual abusers, human trafficking, drug trafficking promoted by government officials or anything that promotes humans “knowing” better than God’s eternal rules of order and righteousness DID NOT MAKE IT and are still here.

*TAKE NOTE: this is lawlessness at its worst. The mystery of lawlessness started through Satan in the garden who tempted Adam and Eve to doubt God’s Word, but today it has turned into a base, animalistic way of a life of darkness. The Bible tells us that this lawlessness turns into an evil spirt that possesses and controls the one wotld leader, called the anti-Christ. By this time, you may know who he is. The clue is that as the world governments turn into a Ten Nation Confederate Coalition; this man will be in the center of the drafting and signing a peace treaty with that coalition and Israel.

• Ask Jesus for forgiveness for not seeking and following His Truth.

• Just as God closed the door on Noah’s Ark, allowing NO ONE else in; in the same way, you only have one more opportunity, and the door will be shut forever.

4. Were you held back because you were just going to wait and see?

Ok I get it, there are a lot of religious voices in the world today that are peddling Bible words for money, gain, power, fame and abuse and we were all tempted to just throw everything out. There was also massive confusion with so many church buildings, denominations, non-denominations, TV preachers always asking for money and turning the pure way of God into a circus. It was disgusting. But even in Jesus’ time on earth He spoke on the subject telling us to do what they say but don’t do what they do:

³ Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. Matthew 23:3

Throughout your life, Jesus by His Holy Spirit sent you teachers, prophets, friends and hundreds of opportunities to investigate His Truths and make an eternal decision. If your choice was “wait and see” that was saying NO! No I will not follow Christ. No I will not accept the Bible as Truth. No I will not yield or act upon what I have heard. You my friend deceived yourself.

²¹ Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. ²² But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. James 1:21-22

5. Were you held back because of an injustice?

Maybe a person trying to follow God hurt you, disappointed you, broke your trust, or tried to abuse you. There will never be a good enough explanation to make things right, but I know for a fact, followers of Jesus are not perfect, only forgiven, and I am truly sorry for your pain.

Maybe an unspeakable event happened in your life and you did not know where to turn your anger. In either case we have been tempted to give God the blame with the judgmental question: “If You are a loving God how could You let this happen”? Unfortunately, this major deception has shipped wrecked thousands of people as they thought they were at an impasse with God, and as the anger turns into rage and the desire to hurt God or loved ones by destroying yourself brings us to this sobering scripture:

¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, ²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, ²¹ envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21

Friend, you were deceived in the worst way, again I feel deep sorrow for you even as I write these words. But let me continue to emphasize, there is Great Hope for you, even in this hour.

• Just as God closed the door on Noah’s Ark, allowing NO ONE else in; in the same way, you only have one more opportunity, and the door will be shut forever.

6. This is the No-Hope category!

* If you are of this category, you are probably reading this to help hunt down and kill the last of those who might follow Jesus in this hour.

* If you are not of this category, you need to understand this group, because they think you are the cause of all world problems, and they will operate in the legal rights of the day to kill you.

The Bible foretold of this global, cultural mob mentality. They are already organizing in the hour of this writing, but they will be a “legal” enforcement movement that cannot be reasoned with as their minds and consciences have been defiled, hardened, seared, debased, darkened and blinded.

• Romans 1:21 …their foolish hearts were darkened.
• Romans 1:24 …God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, ²⁵ who exchanged the truth of God for the lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator.
• Romans 1:28-32 …God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; ²⁹ being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, ³⁰ backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, ³¹ undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; ³² who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
• Romans 2:5 … in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart.
• 1 Timothy 4:1,2 … in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, ² speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.
• Titus 1:15 … to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.
• Ephesians 4:18,19 … having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; ¹⁹ who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

This no-hope category will be like bounty hunters and hungry wolves seeking out all those who will not take the mark of the beast and have potential to follow Jesus. This is Satan’s hit squad.

Jesus described them saying: You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. John 8:44

Let us review chapter four

• Categories of deception.
• Religious order called the church.
• Cares of life.
• Supported evil movements.
• Decided to wait and see.
• Great injustices.
• No-Hope seared conscience bounty hunters. There is no truth in them.
• The only path of eternal life is in King Jesus, The Son of God.
