Prayer – The Key that Unlocks The Kingdom of God
PRAYER INTRODUCTION
Here I am with the greatest revelation of God’s Word, given to me over 30 years ago. I fought to escape religion and the Kingdom of Darkness and to enter into The Kingdom of Light, proving the scriptures in my own life. Yes it is real and the freedom I walk in is amazing and all I want to do is shout it from the mountain top so people can be set free!
But today I heard a person in great trouble and great conflict say: “I should pray a prayer, I want to pray, but I don’t know how to pray.”
Great sorrow flooded my soul. In my amazement and shock, I could hardly breathe. I thought how can this be? A 40 year old, married professional in the USA declares she doesn’t know how to pray for her husband lying there on a hospital bed. Lord Jesus, how can this be?
As a teacher and minister of the greatest book of Truth known to mankind; an ancient writing of man’s beginning, man’s history and man’s journey to understanding the One True God our Creator who desires a relationship with us, witnessed a person of sound mind that did not know how to talk to God. How can I possibly teach the mystery of the kingdom of God (Mark 4:11) when there are people young and old that don’t know how to pray to God?
Then I realized that prayer is the #1 Key that unlocks the Kingdom of God! Did you understand what I just wrote? Prayer is the Key! Jesus told us the very FIRST thing we are to do:
“…seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness…” (Matthew 6:33)
Seek what? The Kingdom of God. To seek is to aggressively search with everything you have. It starts with conversation. It starts with talking to the King, His Name is Jesus.
So, let’s get to it! If you are a follower of Jesus the Christ, and have a relationship with Him through prayer, may this be a great resource for you with those you are mentoring. I humbly ask if you would come in agreement with me now, that this teaching would be released into the hands of those who need it the most; that fear would be broken and those who apply this Word would be empowered, set free, saved through faith and delivered from darkness. I ask just as Paul did:
…pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. (2 Thessalonians 3:1)
