Prayer Part 1 – THE NAME OF JESUS

I just googled the word pray and prayer on the internet and I am ashamed of all of the confusing religious rules and regulations that I found. Roadblocks that would make even me not want to try. Close your eyes, kneel down, stand up, raise one hand, point your finger to the sky, put a hat on, veil your face, purchase some beads and move one each time you repeat a “mantra”, put oil on your head, no put oil on your face, grow a beard, put money in an offering, light a candle, light ten candles, go to a religious holy building…ask a professional to do it for you. Father God guide us through all of the deceitful confusion and teach us how to pray.

Before I teach you anything, I would like to encourage you to know and be confident in using this ONE WORD PRAYER. I have taught it to all of my children, all of those that I have discipled one-on-one and to the hundreds that I have baptized…

JESUS!

That is it, say it…say it out loud…say it out loud now. Whisper it, speak it, shout it, sing it, whatever your situation is, speaking this name unlocks every lock and opens every door, removes every obstacle that might be standing in your way of receiving help. Now if you have something to say to God or something to ask Him, because you have called on His Son Jesus, you now have his attention. Ask Him. I also know that if you were fearful, speaking the Name of Jesus drives away every evil thing.

Your assignment is to practice saying His Name, Jesus. Because there may be a time when a tragedy might be taking place, like an oncoming car in your lane and you may only have time to pray the ONE WORD PRAYER – JESUS! Practice saying His Name, He loves to hear your voice!

Now Father God I pray for these that are learning how to talk to you, I know that when they call upon you in Jesus Name You are there.
