WEEK 2 DAY 3 – Discipleship Course – ENTERING THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Memory Verse:

1 Corinthians 10:13 NKJV

13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

HOW TO LISTEN TO JESUS WITHIN – Using scripture in the listening room

Thought #1 – We need to be strengthened by the Word of God to overcome temptation. We don’t need to defend our Bible, we need to use it. Use it like a sword. Remember Jesus fought with the Word when He said: Satan it is written… we need to know what is written.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness… The same Holy Spirit will help you to understand the Word. Knowing Scripture will allow us to discern if someone is lying to you like a false prophet, false pastor or teacher!

Thought #2 – Say out loud the word STANDARD The Bible is our ETERNAL STANDARD OF TRUTH!
