WEEK 2 DAY 1 – Discipleship Course – ENTERING THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Memory Verse:

1 Corinthians 10:13 NKJV

13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

HOW TO LISTEN TO JESUS WITHIN – We are in a Battle

Thought #1 – Develop a relationship, not a religion. Read John 1:12

We are in a battle! Satan will throw everything he can at you, to tempt you to go back to your old ways. Old addictions or old religious practices, he does not care. He will use anything that will stop a personal relationship with Jesus.

Thought #2 – God has already communicated with you and YOU HEARD HIM! You received His communication and were born again. Now we need to practice listening to him. Where would that special place be? What would that special time be?

Thought #3 – We don’t have to seek or beg for God to speak to us, He is speaking ALL THE TIME! He is seeking us, He loves you and wants to speak to you.
