TRUTH WAR PART THREE
Understanding Discernment – The spirit of lawlessness is already at work.
1. Do you believe that absolute truth exists?
I am talking about a standard of truth that you can put on a balance scale to weigh, measure, test, and prove if something is true or not.
2. Do you think the society and culture you are living in today believes in, or even cares about absolute truth?
In part one, we discovered that as Kingdom People following Jesus; to discern the times and navigate 2022, we find absolute Truth in these three measurable standards:
Jesus (Jn 14:16)-The Holy Spirit (Jn 16:17)-The Word of God, The Bible (Jn 17:17)
We must realize that the dark world culture we live in HAS NO CONCERN FOR THE TRUTH ABOUT ANYTHING! We will live, function, minster, and operate with less drama, heartbreak, and with more productivity if we can REMOVE THE EXPECTATION that non-followers of Jesus are seeking truth. They are not!
In part two, we discovered that as Kingdom People following Jesus; to discern the times and navigate 2022 we must understand that these top seven world systems have drifted away from Truth. These systems can no longer have our trust. Part two showed us how the government system worldwide and the USA in particular, has turned its priorities from serving the people to serving itself.
Today I am looking at the religious system.
Like Paul wrote in Acts 20:20-27 … how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house… I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.
In the past we have given blind trust to the religious system, never expecting that such abuse, and wickedness that we see today, would ever enter our church building walls. But the religious system has been breached also. I know it “feels” so wrong to even talk about it, but we must if we are to follow Truth. I also know that it is our “knee-jerk” reaction to be defensive and say, well not my church, that would never happen here. Therefore I will try my best not to call out any false apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, or teachers in this article (because this is serious business with God and there is a protocol to follow on how to do that). In my greatest effort to share Truth in Love and to be sensitive to young believers let us look to the Old Testament and show a comparison of not following Truth in a religious system.
Old Testament Temple
God shows the prophet through a vision what was going on in and around God’s temple (which we can compare to a present day church building).
Ezekiel Chapter 8
Verse 6 – the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary
Verse 10 – all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed all around on the walls.
Verse 12 – have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, (secretly behind closed doors) every man in the room of his idols?
Verse 14 – He brought me to the door of the north gate of the Lord’s house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz (false god of fertility).
Verse 16 – were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east.
**Chapter 9:4 Good News, not all were practicing these great abominations …put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.
Verse 5 – To the others He said in my hearing, “Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity.
Verse 6 – Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were before the temple.
Now in the New Testament
Acts 20:29 – Paul said before leaving his friends for good…For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.
Verse 31 – Therefore (remember my example for the past 3 years).
Today
I will try to never demand what to do, that is not my place or desire. I am only trying to help you navigate around these seven upside-down systems, that we once gave our trusts to, but today must discern for ourselves what is Truth and what is not.
Are any or all of these found in the present day denominational religious system? Let’s leave out the congregation/sheep just discerning the leadership. You must judge (without making excuses).
Galatians 5:19-21
Adultery, Fornication, Uncleanness, Lewdness, Idolatry, Sorcery, Hatred, Contentions, Jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like…. of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God…
Is this teacher telling you to leave your church building and all denominations? No, that is between you and Jesus, as He is the Head of all of us who have been called out of the kingdom of darkness and accepted into The Kingdom of Light.
What happens next with Truth? How to navigate around the mystery of lawlessness that is already at work. God put us here in this hour, planning on us wining battles and victoriously overcoming darkness. Time to sharpen our sword! Truth has the supernatural power to set us all free.
