WEEK 4 DAY 3– Discipleship Course – ENTERING THE KINGDOM OF GOD
Memory Verse:

FOLLOW JESUS AS LORD – Declaring Jesus as Lord through water Baptism
Thought #1 – Things Jesus told His disciples to do just before He ascended to Heaven.
Verse – Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Thought #2 – Like a marriage ceremony, baptism is a public declaration that you are following Jesus. Going under the water is a sign of dying with Jesus and coming up out of the water is a sign of living in resurrection with Jesus. This is an IDENTITY change. You now identify with Jesus!
Action – This is an intimate time as you share with other followers and family you decision to follow Jesus, enjoy the moment because it lasts forever!
