   Chapter Two

The catching away event itself

Now is not the time to be kicking yourself, now is the time of understanding and action! You will discover that the Truth hidden from you was a well thought plan of Satan the Deceiver and that there are several categories of folks that did not make this first catching away for all kinds of reasons. Please have hope and understand there is one more opportunity for you!

Did you read that? You will have one more opportunity to spend eternity with your loved ones, keep reading! I pray you understand the urgency; let us start by taking a look at the event itself, recorded in the Bible.

How to: find in the Bible for yourself, where I am quoting Truth.

Each time I quote the Truth in the Bible I will give an “address” where you can look it up for yourself. For this first quote of 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18:

• Find the index in the front of the Bible.
• Look for the book: 1 Thessalonians; find that page number and go to it.
• Next, find chapter 4, look down a few lines (verses) until you find the numbers 16, 17 & 18, which is our first Truth, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

The Galilean Wedding is the Key!

This is the event that just happened! The mystery of this “catching away” was preserved in the context of a Galilean wedding about 2000 years ago. Once the Bride-to-be accepted the proposal of the Bridegroom-to-be, the groom/son would leave his betrothed, “go to his father’s house” and either build a house on the father’s land or actually build an addition off of the father’s house (which could take up to a year). When the son completed the preparations for his new love, he would then wait until the father said that it was time to go get his bride. During the same time, the Bride is watching, waiting, and preparing for her Bridegroom to come and get her.

In this comparison, the Son/Bridegroom is Jesus, The Bride are the intimate followers of Jesus who are faithfully watching, waiting, and preparing for His arrival, the Father is God, and the Father’s House is Heaven. In the words of Jesus:

In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. ³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.  John 14:2-4

But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. ³⁷ But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Matthew 24:36-37

Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Revelation 3:10

Ok, that last verse you just read; Revelation 3:10 is this rapture or “catching away” just before that hour of trial, which is probably happening as you are reading this; the hour of trial is the horrible 7 years of Tribulation on Earth. We knew it was the “season” but did not know the exact day or hour, so we kept watch, we kept praying, kept looking and it happened just as Jesus promised! We (your loved ones who left you this book) have been caught up to heaven with Jesus.

Timing of the Catching Away

Even though some things were hidden in a mystery to be revealed later, The Bible did foretell of the following events:

• Jesus being born in Bethlehem – Isiah 9:1-7
• The crucifixion of Jesus – Daniel 9:26
• The resurrection and ascension of Jesus – Mark 14:58 & Acts 1:9-11
• The coming of the Holy Spirit – Luke 3:16
• {Year 1948} Israel becoming a Nation again – Amos 9:14-15
• IMPORTANT NOTE: The next event to happen was this rapture or “catching away” which had no exact date, so we were to watch daily and to be ready to go in a moment’s notice. More than likely if you are reading this the rapture or “catching away” has already happened.

* All of these events are mapped out on the timeline at the back of this book but don’t get distracted let’s continue in order as this is happening in real time.

The next major events on your timeline are:

• The revealing of the One World Leader.
• Identified with the signing of a world treaty with the Nation of Israel.
• Which in turn, the Bible foretold the starting of a 7-year time period called THE TRIBULATION… (More than likely this has already started).

Good news – pause right here!

*IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a second rapture or “catching away” also without an exact date. It will be after the first “catching away” and within three and a half years after revealing of the One World Ruler by the signing of a world treaty with Israel. This moment is called the fullness of the Gentiles; listen, and understand THIS IS YOUR HOPE, a second rapture or “catching away”.

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. Romans 11:25

That is you! You are the last of the Gentiles, or the fullness of the Gentiles, that will be receiving Jesus as Savior, Lord and King!

Why a Second Catching Away?

Mainly because you were not ready for the first one! God loves you so much He wants you to spend eternity with Him, but we have to do it on His terms. The only way to spend eternity with our loved ones is by accepting Jesus as our savior and confessing Him as our King. The Bible explains the timing of the first and second catching-aways, in terms of how God commanded Israel to harvest their crops.

The phrase first fruits was used to describe the way the farmer would go through his new growing crop, and pick only a small portion of the best grain that had already matured. He would take this small remnant to the priest who would hold it up before God, and wave it in the air as an offering. Thanking God for this first fruit which is a promise for the remaining, greater crop or the full crop that will be harvested later. YOU CAN BE PART OF THIS GREATER CROP!

We have prayed that you will understand that this first “catching away” is the first fruit harvest. Those who intimately followed Jesus, matured spiritually, and were chosen to be a promise for the full harvest to come, which I pray you will be in. Your access to the greater harvest is the same as it was for us who have already gone. Your access, your door is still Jesus. The only way to eternal life with God is through Jesus. His words recorded in The Bible NEVER CHANGE, they are actually eternal. Just a reminder, Jesus said:

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.   John 14:16

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18

*TAKE NOTE: We will discuss this in detail later in the book, but for now understand that for whatever reason you did not make the first “catching away” accepting Jesus today as your Savior, Lord, and King will be very different than opportunities you may have had before.

• First you are still under grace and mercy, yes The Holy Spirit of God is with you now to help you, but you do not have any Jesus followers around you to encourage you through this process.
• Secondly, once you are serious about giving your whole life to Jesus and confessing Him as your Lord and King, it will cost you your physical life.

Not only is the dark spirit of lawlessness at work in the world right now, that demonic spirit has taken residence in the One World Leader. He/she/they may seem like a hero and life saver for the world in the beginning, but this is the one The Bible calls The Antichrist. Get it? Anti-Jesus. As you proclaim Jesus as your King and your leader, you will be committing treason against this one world leader and the sentence will be capital punishment.

You will be identified with The Martyrs recorded in the book of Revelations chapter six. 

Fifth Seal: The Cry of the Martyrs

When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed. Revelation 6:9-11

Let us review chapter two

• You were deceived and missed the first catching away but take hope, there is one more opportunity.
• How to look up addresses to the Truth in The Bible.
• The catching away mystery was hidden in the form of a Jewish Wedding.
• There was a place prepared for us that are gone, and also a place for you!
• Good News – a second catching away for you. We were the “first fruit harvest” you will be the greater full harvest (the fullness of the Gentiles and the martyrs under the alter)!
• There was only one way for us to enter heaven having eternal life and that was by believing in our heart that Jesus is the Son of God and confessing Him as our Lord and King. The same is true for you; Jesus is the ONLY way to eternal life with Him and us.
• Why will you be called the martyrs “under the alter”, because as you confess Jesus, it will be considered treason against the One World Ruler, and that Anti-Christ, will demand your death.
