The Picture – Phase One
Imagine with me that God pulled back the spiritual curtain that separates time and you gained some information in advance of an event that would shake every family in the nation like never before. Imagine for just a moment that you were shown this information so that you could prepare for it. Not to prepare to capitalize on your neighbors suffering but to be useful as an End Time Ambassador of Christ. This truly is what happened with apostle John and what he saw recorded in Revelation 17 & 18.
Imagine this Future Event: You “saw” the government make it illegal to speak the name of Jesus, illegal to own a Bible and illegal to broadcast Biblical programs, illegal to assemble, thus; shutting down every church building in the nation. You “saw” that you were quarantined and would be leading your family spiritually in your own home all by yourself. You would be teaching the Bible, praying over your children, worshiping with your wife, eating your meals in remembrance of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection until He calls us home. You would be covertly testifying to those around you of the saving power of Christ and you would be baptizing those who come to Christ.
Coming back to the present time, you are tempted to doubt that you can fulfill such a calling. No professional clergy, no building, just you and Jesus with your Bible and the power of The Holy Spirit. Do you feel equipped to spiritually lead your family in the way of our Lord?
That is why I am writing to you, it is not only my calling but also my great honor to encourage you in this path of equipping.
How did you do, did the picture seem a little freaky? Could you ever see yourself leading your family spiritually? I mean YOU leading them at home, not leading them to a religious institution to have another lead them spiritually. Even if the event of the closure of the church buildings never happened, the truth is that you are responsible before God to lead your family and the great news is that God has given you everything you need to fulfill His calling! He has given you His: Word, Salvation, Power, Provision, resources, Son Jesus, His Holy Spirit who lives in you and leads you, and today He has given you me.
The Picture Continues – Phase Two
The first picture I gave you was the soft and easy picture, Phase Two will be a little tougher, our Lord wants you to “see” and prepare for both.
Next Imagine with me that God pulled back the spiritual curtain and after the closing down of every church building, thousands more sprung up. But what seems like a great movement of “the church” is actually a movement away from God Himself. A new wave of coexistence and a co-mingling of True Faith with tolerating the teaching of false doctrines. Have you heard of the latest religious fad name Chrislam? It is the false doctrine that Christians, Muslims and Jews all originated from Abraham (which is true, “Father Abraham had many sons”) But the lie is that we all worship the same God. We do not! People, family, friends, coworkers, classmates asking you to go to church with them, quilting you and shaming you to go to church with them and you have to say no. Why? Because this is not the True Church that Jesus is building. This is the Wide Gate in Matthew that leads to destruction and also the whore Babylon in Revelation 17-18 that we are told to come out from among. With this “new wave” the Name of Jesus is removed, the Holy Word of God is nullified by lies and traditions of men and even though there may seem to be an appearance of godliness THERE IS NO POWER! From such you must prepare to exit, run home and lead your own family spiritually.
Now can you see that you will be teaching the Bible, praying over your children, worshiping with your wife, eating your meals in remembrance of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection until He calls us home? You will be covertly testifying to those around you of the saving power of Christ and YOU will be baptizing those who come to Christ.
You have been called to be an End Time Ambassador of Christ (and today I confirm that call) you are to prepare so you will be qualified.
Pray with me: Father God I receive the call lead, guide and teach me by Your Holy Spirit. Prepare me to lead my family, and touch the world around me with Your Truth, Love and Power in Jesus Name. Amen.
