Beginning the Journey

WEEK 3 DAY 4 – Discipleship Course – ENTERING THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Memory Verse:

Romans 10:9-10 NKJV

…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

RECEIVE CHRIST’S FREEDOM – WHO ARE WE FIGHTING?

Thought #1 – Ephesians 6:12 – For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [a]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Thought #2 – Remember the injustice you have received is real, and painful, and the kingdom of darkness says it is unforgivable. Jesus wants you to be free and this is what happens:

A grudge holds us in a dark, ungodly relationship with another person which is a “soul tie”. You are tied, united, handcuffed if you will to a negative situation.

From Week 3 day 3 – in your notebook it will be helpful to list the injustices against you and one by one, start praying, forgiving, and blessing those as you release ALL of them.

Thought #3 – from the verse above the kingdom of darkness is spiritual but strongholds can attach to an article like an “entry point”. Have you ever given permission (or paid) a fortune teller to speak over you, used a Ouija board, talked to idol statues like the ones named Mary, Paul or Peter; or in a religious group that gets it power other from Jesus? These are all entry points of demonic deception.

Prayer – Father God we come in Jesus Name, please forgive us for being so naive to Your Word about spiritual darkness. Now we break any oaths, agreements or alliances we have made with Satan through these seemingly harmless acts. We now receive forgiveness, and deliverance from all of these dark practices, Amen.

Key #2 – Revelation 12:11 – And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
