Beginning the Journey

WEEK 3 DAY 3 – Discipleship Course – ENTERING THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Memory Verse:

Romans 10:9-10 NKJV

…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

RECEIVE CHRIST’S FREEDOM – FREEDOM FROM RESENTMENT

Thought #1 – When was the last time you were happy for three months in a row? Let’s get rid of resentment. You get to choose bondage or freedom. Holding a grudge only brings you to death.

Thought #2 – The injustice you have received is real, and painful, and the kingdom of darkness says it is unforgivable. Jesus wants you to be free and this is what happens:

A grudge holds us in a dark, ungodly relationship with another person which is a “soul tie”. You are tied, united, handcuffed if you will to a negative situation.

Key #1 – We forgive and set the other person free. Why so they will feel better? No, this is to set you free from them. This is powerful, and the victory of overcoming this stronghold through Jesus is miraculous!

Key #2 – Jesus forgave us, and has given us eternal life; don’t be connected to someone who is trying to hold you down. Let us forgive, release and drum roll please….bless them in Jesus Name. What? Yes bless them, that they too may be forgiven of God and share in the same eternal life you have.

Action – List all of those, that need your forgiveness, and then write the prayer “in the Name of Jesus, I forgive you” after each one.
